I wrapped the belt around the pulley, held it with my left hand and used a socket wrench to remove it. Using an impact gun may have made it easier.

I have the billet pulley you speak of. Make sure it fits properly. Mine needs some slight modification - it cannot go back far enough to line up the belts properly. Not too difficult to fix, but something of an annoyance.
