Oil pressure, coolant temp, and fuel level are all sending unit driven gauges. The speedometer, tach, oil level light, coolant level light, and all other lights are driven by the ECU INSIDE the gauge cluster.

from the schematics my conclusion was: Oil pressure, coolant temp, and fuel level = analog signals, easy to do Tach = signal from coil Speedometer = signal from gearbox, goes to the ecu and then to the dash Pics... easy to read schematics or idiot notes would be great I need a "GAUGE CLUSTER FOR DUMMIES" kinda thing,...

Ahh I see.
What you need to do first, is get the cluster to power up. Here's the FSM schematic for the cluster (you may have this already): http://www.rotaryheads.com/PDF/3rd_g...ng_Diagram.pdf Go to page 46. The connections are pretty self-explanatory. The tach connection is either the blue/yellow (4C) or yellow/blue (3F) wire, I can't remember for sure. The oil level light won't come on unless the wire is grounded, the coolant level light (and buzzer) WILL come on unless its grounded. If you are going to disable that, ground it to one of the ground wires in the cluster. The ABS & Air Bag lights are going to come on. Best thing to do is pull the bulbs. When you pull the bulb for the air bag light, the cluster is going to make a faint series of beeps when you turn it on. It will take about 5 seconds or so for the beeps to stop and it will do this every time you power up the cluster. After a while you stop noticing it...its not like a coolant buzzer. |

At least Im making progress
I´ve identified several things and acording to the 94 FSM and the 81 FSM the water temp sensor output is the same So I just have to give that gauge 12v + ground + signal and I already identified what conector is what
