Sweet car, you guys always build nice stuff. Do you happen to have any EFR 9180 1.05 in stock? If so, whats your pricing on them these days.

I have it up to 20.2 psi now and I also added 3 more degrees ignition advance. I can tell the turbo is starting to wake up... 2nd pump and bigger injectors next week..I have a feeling the clutch will fry when I try for 25-30psi...

We suspect so. I have no idea why. We are now using the updated EFR turbine housing discharge flange( which is sanded flat after welding). It will be inspect it when we heat shield the DP/MP. When it was first started the system had zero leaks that you could hear or feel..

It's actually design that way to seal on the taper, not just the flat. This will eliminate any leaks over time.

If its not done like that then it will *always leak* and is near impossible to rectify (if its a taper type or stepped type *Tial*) after welding. One of the only decent clamp flange styles is the HKS version (on their T04Z's T51 turbo kits), very thick and resistant to deformation in service on engine and also during fabrication. These are practical things you can implement to solve this problem that work long term.

I have fixed the leak on this car, curious to see if its lasts now( especially since we are 30psi).
