Default New From Tennessee

Hello everyone. My name is Matt. I drive a 1990 RX7 GTU. Its a project/daily at the moment. Im planning a full T2 drivetrain swap with powered by max coilovers by the end of winter. This is my second RX7. My first one was stolen (10 AE model) and after a few years I finally found another one for a good price that just needed a bit of work. My current S5 has a rebuilt motor and trans with a stage 2 clutch and a racing beat cat back exhaust with a test pipe running from the header to the cat back. Ive only done small mods so far such as a miata short shifter and an hks intake. Here are a few pictures. She isnt pretty at the moment but when I get the wide rears and paint on it should look alot better.

Im going on monday to check on the price to build a 4 rotor eccentric. Apparently he builds custom cranks on the cheap so Im going to see pricing and then potentially do something really stupid with alot of money

If I had to guess, I'd say close to $5k, but that all depends on the setup, and since it's a 1 off billet, it could be as much as $10k. Most CAD quotes I've gotten alone for manufacturing / engineering are in the $3000~$5000 range, and that's just for a cast rotor. I had them spec out my 3rotor shaft and it's about the same general cost, but cheaper to actually cast at around $200 a slug.

GL, I'll be curious to see what they quote you...
