I got this made (puts drain, nipples, etc. where you want) by a guy on ebay for like $25.00. If you need his info let me know, its very thick and well made. The cap is great as well.
![]() DSC_0035 by 9krpmrx8, on Flickr I also had this one that I bought at Advanced Autoparts for $10.00. The cap sucks a bit but the reservoir is good. I just got a four point strut bar so I have to rework my setup a bit now. ![]() sohn by 9krpmrx8, on Flickr

That looks like a universal aftermarket coolant overflow tank. They say not to use them for oil because it will degrade the plastic over a short period of time.

Yeah , I've been reading up on it and you need something that can stand
up to 2 cycle oil. Just any ole coolant or wiper tank won't do, they will disintegrate in a matter of months. Thats why I started looking at motorcycles, snowmobiles and ATVs. Turns out the ATVs seem to have pretty large tanks on them. I think I'll get the Polaris ATV tank I saw on ebay. Once I do I'll do a writeup on how to mod the MOP for an external tank. I know its been done before but I think a more recent one is in order for the 1st gen.

I think j_tso was referring to the first 2 cycle reservoir you had from autozone.
The custom one you have now I bet is made to standup to 2 cycle oil.
