Yes we can. We've been playing around with a few different designs but nothing that I am satisified with yet. Did you have a specific design in mind?

I'd be happy to hear what you would suggest. It is all in the mounting that I haven't been satisfied with. I wish there was a way that no holes would have to be drilled or anything cut. Obviously, that can't happen. LEt me know what you have in mind and I'll see if we can turn into reality.

It is a very nice piece, and theres no arguing with the price, but I've got my heart and mind set on the RE-Speed triangulated bar. Perhaps you could add some triangulation to that bar.

id be down for one for the rear since no one makes one. i wouldnt mind cutting the plastic .

this maybe be silly but to mount it. would you just remove the two nuts on the top of the shock's. thin out the top rubber mount a little bit then slide the strut bar over the two shock bolts? and reinstall the two set of double nuts? iam asking cause i have never seen up close how a rear strut bar mounts. if this is how it is done you could stamp the ends where the shock goes thru so it would act as the top washer. sorry if that makes no sense

/\/\ that makes sense, but we don't feel that design will be structurally strong enough. Keep in mind our liability side of it. If there is any risk of the piece not holding together an injury, or worse, could happen. We don't want to risk anyone with that. I will take a look the 1st of the week and see if we can't come up with something. We have to finish some Evo parts first and then we can take a look. I'll post an update soon.

Orion, we are working on a triangulated unit. The RB pieces and RE pieces are high. I will see what we can do to push this up a little as well. I'll post on this unit soon, as well.

hey i got a idea to make it stronger. bare with me since its harder to explain certain things over the net.

make it mount the way i talked about befor but have square plates on both ends. in the center of the plate have a hole for the threaded end of the shock. then 2 or 4 more holes drilled in the plate for bolts, these holes can be used for a template for drilling tho shock mounting area.
then have a plate that would have a hole in the center for the shock and holes taped or bolts welded in,matching up with the bolt holes on the strut bar ends. this plate would sit between the shock lower bushings body side and body. so in case some thing bad happens the threaded end of the shock is not the only thing holding it in the car. also havening the plate on the out side threaded for the extra bolts would make it a lot stronger and stiffer

If we build a rear unit, it will be hard mounted to the body only. There's no structural point of connecting the two shocks. The shocks use either rubber or urethane bushings at the body mount so this defeats the purpose of connecting the two. We'll take a look early this week and see what we can come up with.

From what I've read the rear of the FB chassis is stiff enough that adding more bracing really does nothing. I have no experience with this, but it's been said. Perhaps a bar/bars bracing the hatch opening would work well. That has to be a weak area seeing how large the opening is.

I concur. I had one of my guys spend about 2 hours today trying to come up with a good design. I scrapped each one he came up with. We'll keep looking into it for a little longer, but it may get scrapped all together for the rear.
