Default My new intercooler for my 1st gen car

Out with the NPR and in with the water/air intercooler! I made it go in with 4 clamps, and 2 couplers . No pressure drop, get to keep air conditioning, Filter has more room for movement and it isn't the norm!

That does look nice!

Have you tested efficiency yet (what are charge air temps)?

Not in this intercooler but I have a few cars that run liquid coolers. They have zero pressure drop which helps spool up. Also you don't have to worry about outflowing this intercooler.

I have methenol injection so charge temps will be below ambient at any point when the engine runs more than 10-14 psi of boost.

Nah, it has a full spool and a locker in the rear, so 318 turns in 11 miles will wear me out! I have my wifes car up and running so I guess I will drive that.

Hey Mike.

If you look on the last 2 pics where the IC is black, you can see it on the smaller pipe. It is tucked under the pipe. The other pics were just after I welded up the pipes.

Did you go to Steele last weekend? I heard they had it on kill mod for the Orsca event. Only 1/8th mile but I heard some records were laid down. Also had a friend run a new BP that night. I am down until I fix my diff/axels.....
