? Decode Serial #

>> any one know how to decode a serial # I have what i think is a 84 gsl.se it has a fuel injected 13b in it for sure .. i am having problems finding rotors for the rear disk brakes .. the origional rotors were were solid and not as thick as the vented rotors i keep getting sent
..i am windering if i have a 12A car that has had a motor swap and been rebadged ..and the rear disks are a 12A option .. mine are the type with the Ebrake built into the brakes caliper here is the serial # if I know what it started life as that mite help me ??1984 MAZDA RX7?? JM1FB3322E0802155

It's a GSL-SE. If the rear discs are solid, someone swapped in a GSL rear end. Are your wheels the same front and rear? If so, your front suspension has also been swapped to 12A spec. Either that or someone swapped VINs for whatever reason, but if it has an injected 13B, I'd be more inclined to think someone yoinked the suspension to use in their 12A car.

Another clue as to whether the car has the 12A brakes is the wheel size. If it has 13's, they must be 12A brakes, as 13's won't fit over the SE brakes. Also, the 12A hubs use lug bolts or screw in studs, while the SE hubs have pressed in studs.
I'm betting you have an SE with 12A brakes.
