Welcome to our brand spankin new subform!
Hey everyone welcome to our subforum! This space will be available to ask questions about our current products, discuss new products or ideas, and run a few GB's on our latest stuff
SakeBomb Garage evolved out of us making parts for our own cars when we simply could not find anything on the market that was up to our standards. Soon friends and acquaintances were requesting we make a set for them, so we decided to reproduce the parts that we had made for our own cars. We are very crazy about aftermarket parts having a stock appearance, and we go the extra mile to make sure that whatever upgrades we introduce don't ruin the aesthetics and original appearance. We're split between the Bay Area (SF) in CA, and Delaware.
We'll be posting some GB's soon but for now we offer Dual Setrab Oil Cooler kits (the best kits out there), Projector HID's for the FD, and SS brakelines. We are working on a number of other projects now but those are still in R/D now |

We mostly work with 3rd gen Rx-7s. Currently we do not offer any parts for 2nd gens.

Hello all! I'm not fortunate enough to have me a Wenkel-powered machine, but i am madly interested in a great lighting product, and the Bi-Xenon Projector kit is by far the the sickest kit I've ever seen (been looking for a good projector retro kit for at least 2 years). just out of wide-eyed curiosity, even though i dont have an RX-7, will this kit fit any H6054 headlamp setup? PLEASE SAY YES!! im sick of this crappy bi-xenon kit i have now.....

and my next question, since im in the habit of asking, is if this kit does in fact fit an existing H6054 setup, does it accomodate H4 bi-xenon bulbs? and then if the answer to that is yes, CAN I BUY JUST YOUR PROJECTOR ASSEMBLY AND NOT THE WHOLE LIGHTING/WIRING KIT????

However, I do know that the retrofits use replica projectors from an Infinity FX35/FX45/Nissan 350Z. So it does not accept a HID bulb that has been rebased to an H4 socket. IIRC they use D2S (OEM HID projector) bulbs. However, if you want to make your own retrofit (I was too lazy, and this kit was more convenient), you can find the projectors/ballasts/bulbs/ect at www.theretrofitsource.com Additionally, you can read up on doing your own retrofit in the University section of www.hidplanet.com

helpful information. as far as fitting the H4 existing setup i have now i figured that would be much too convenient, but if i can somehow confirm the projector assembly SakeBomb manufactures will fit an existing H6054 housing, id rather just get it from someone who has more experience retrofitting it than i do... thanks for the insight!

No the FD kit will not fit that rectangular light... though the FC rx7 shares that light and we just finished a prototype set for that lamp. I don't want to go too far off topic in this thread (I'll start another FC/FB interest thread shortly) but since you asked I wanted to post our current working prototype. Whether we make this (and the 7" round version) will hinge on the amount of demand for them... but here are some shots of the FC / H6054 projectors: Feel free to open an interest thread in our section if you like... I'll probably get a thread going soon but ive been swamped recently The output would be identical to the FD sets we are currently making. Unfortunately there is even more work involved in creating these projectors (as compared to the FD version) so the price will be at least that of the FD one (hopefully not more). There is an unreasonable amount of steps involved in retrofitting these (and the FD) lights, and unfortunately it all must be done by hand. It's more of an art than a science... Sorry...that posted before I was ready.
Interested on the prototype FC lights. Let us know when they reach production status...cause I know my lights are woefully inadequate. Would love to upgrade to something that's not antique. Thanks for addressing us older gen. rotary owners. Rob
