87 Rx-7
My name is Jessica, this next year will be my 5th year at DGRR. I didn't have an 7 until my second year. I have a 87 Rx-7, my first year at DGRR with it, it was a lovely sun faded silver, with an automatic. Popped the apex seals 7 months later, had Kevin Lander's rebuild the engine and street port it. My second year with my 7 at DGRR it had a rebuilt engine and did a manual swap. Last year at DGRR not much on my car had changed other than the sun faded silver was gone and a lovely primer gray was added and my drive shaft went while up there. I am currently in the process of making some major changes for this upcoming 2010 DGRR. I am rebuilding the suspension, doing a 5 lug swap, got some new wheels much better than the phone dials that have graced it the past 3 years and of course trying to get a coat of paint put on it, but when your family only owns rotary cars, you have to prioritize so that the respected cars are driveable for the trip to DGRR. Look for it next spring, as I am sure it will get attention for one of the items that will be adorning it.
