Default '78 leading vacuum advance

I met a guy over the weekend who is the original owner of a '78 RX-7. He ordered the car in april of 1978 and delivered in july. The car is dated 4/78 and vin is 5357 (I think). It is a nice white original car.

He needs a leading vacuum advance, the one he has is torn. I have an extra distributer for an FB and they seem to have the same leading vacuum advance. Does anyone know if they are? Or does anyone happen to have one off of a '79?

By the way everyone, none of the above listed units are in production from Mazda, many are NLA.

What's up guys?

I'm a Mazda parts employee, Mazda owner, and member of most Mazda forums. Just not this one until today. I'm over at Courtesy Mazda in Longmont, CO. We inherited some old inventory from a closed down Mazda dealership. When I entered part number 8826-24-351 into Google to find out what it was, the only result was this thread. Our EPC doesn't even show the part number. It's the leading vacuum advance for a 78-80

Anyway, it looks like our dealership has the only new unit that's left, so if it's still in need by anybody, give me a call at 303-725-4234 and I can ship it out to you.

An original owner in our club down here in C Springs needs one still I believe. Chris will have to answer for sure I believe because he's probably kept up with it more than I have.

Chris, do you have Keith's number? I don't have it anymore since my phone crapped out.
