What suspension should I use...
Here are my choices..
I have Tokico 5 way struts and Koni.. And spring wise, I have RB, Eibach Pros, and H&R. So, my question is, which combination of strut/spring should I go with??? Let me here it! PHIL

I went with a Ground Control custom setup. 8kg front and 6kg rear Eibach ERS springs on modified Koni shocks with threaded bodies. Spring rates are most important, don't stray far away from 8/10 kg in front and 6/8 in the rear. I've had great success in the past with both Eibach springs and H&R, however I'm a drag racer.

Dont use the RB springs unless you want to low ride the whip son They are super soft and the car sits incredibly low. If you have larger wheels you will have a hard time preventing the tires from hitting hte front fender liners with the rb springs whenever you hit a bump.

I decided not to go with coilovers as they tend to not last long. Also, This is for a weekend car...
I've decided to go with H&R with Koni Yellows. I got it all put together and going to install them tonight. Its been Busy week I'll post some pics of my updated FD.

Nice phil.
Hey do you or have you experienced with any of your FD's lol, that the passenger side sits higher than the driver side?? Thats the MAIN reason why im going with a coilover setup, soley because i would adjust the passenger side a bit lower than the driver to compensate for this problem. |

The tokicos have been proven for years on the autox scene in fds with a good set of springs. I think a lot of people go coilovers once they want to become extremely competitive in autox and must fit a wider tire/rim combo.

Good choice. I'm running Konis with the H&R springs also.
If you want an even ride height front to rear, you may have to use the middle perch on the rear shocks. I did. Iirc, my ride height wound up at about 25.25 - 25.5" all around. Coilovers are too stiff for my taste on a street driven car. Different story on a track car. |

Which perch are you using in the front? I'll be running coil overs on the black FD.. But I'll be driving maybe couple of grand a year.. More for show than anything I'll take some pics tonight. PHIL

I also bought a new shock tower pad/bushing for the front.. The rear seemed ok... I just got it in and just need to put the hubs back in.

I run Tokico Illumina 5 way's with eibach springs on the street and Tein HA's on the track. The Tein's aren't too bad on the street, but are still a little too stiff for my taste for "everyday driving"
