Who has any experience/info. on the OEM Showa Bathurst SP/Type R Coilovers?
I recently acquired these coilovers and will be running them on my street FD most likely... or I might sell them, who knows. I know they lower the car 20mm and can raise the car 5mm higher than stock. It says they are stiffer than the R1/R2 suspension, but softer than the Apexi/HKS coilovers. That's a pretty broad range. Does anyone know the actual spring rates?
R-R-Rx7's car came with these and told me he really likes them for street applications. Anyone else with first hand experience with them? I've searched the 7club and read all the threads that came up, but there just really isn't that much on them. Here is a picture of them from FD Newbie's site:

On the other forum, Scott aka Too Much Power or was it 2muchpwr or some variation of that with the blue LS1 FD had them on his car. I think John Magnuson had them also. I think they had posted the spring rates at one point but can't seem to find the thread... I think they both liked them for street and Scott even used them for autox.

Anyone else have any more info? I've talked to R-R-Rx-7 some more. Just like to get as much first hand experience info. as possible. Still looking for the spring rates. Haven't found those anywhere.

I take it you picked up the set that was on ebay last week. I had my eye on those also. But decided to go another route
