Post February 2009 Ride Of The Month - Rotorhead37 (Winner of SA/FB Month)!

February brought us back into our "normal" rotation and the winner of SA/FB Month is a dandy! We had the closest ROTM Vote ever, with THREE cars within a single vote of each other for most of the month! The winner with the big upset at the end is Rotorhead37's beautiful black Turbo FB!

Year, model, mods, etc
1985 GSL-SE T04E Turbo, Microtech LT10S, 750cc pri, 1000cc sec, 255 walbro, 4 MSD coils, ACT clutch, Alum rad w/ elec fans,(1 push and 1 pull), and alot more. Check my website for the list, its long.

Questions to the owner:

Q: Congratulations for winning Ride of the Month! Tell us about how you acquired this car?
A: Thanks, My wife found this car behind a shop covered in overgrown weeds. She brought it home, thought it was cute,(it was silver and purple)and thought it would be a good small car for her to drive. It had sat behind that shop for over three years, it was a major POS. While on my way to my shop, chunks of rubber were flying out of the tires and the whole car was just a handful. So I took it from her from there, gave her a much safer car, restored it first, then modded the shizzle out of it. Now, she won't drive it anymore. It's too scary.

Q: How did you first become interested in modified cars? Have you had any previously?
A: I've done Hot Rods since I was young and I've always enjoyed cars.

Q: Whats the biggest reason you chose a rotary powered car to modify?
A: I wanted to do something I hadn't done before. I almost bought a car just like this one in '85, but changed my mind at the last minute. Now, I wished even more I hadn't changed my mind.

Q: Is this car your daily driver? Do you participate in any form of racing? (Drag, Auto-X, etc)
A: It used to be, but not anymore. Only racing this car see's is an occasional run when some feels froggy.

Q: What do you enjoy most about your car?
A: The way this simply feels and handles. I have Sparco Milano seats that are really comfortable and hold me in place regardless of a winding road or not. I can ride for days in this car and not be tired. And the tunes sound clear as crystal. All Infinity Kappa speaker system. All 15 of them.

Q: Do you have any future plans for the car, or any car?
A: Always do.

Q: Any other hobbies besides cars?
A: Yeah, but I don't have much time to do much of them.

Q: Anyone you'd like to thank?
A: First and foremost, GOD, my wife and family, friends, and all those who voted for me.
