Passenger Footwell, where the PFC is. As far as it working with the PFC, I don't know, it should. I have a custom SPAL controller.

Mazda installed this on all FDs under warranty many many years ago. If your car does not have it, then the original owner was very very lazy.
The PFC works fine with it as the mod was a jumper harness to add in the black control box. The new engine harness does not use the jumper harness as the wiring in included in it. |

If I understand correctly you should not need the harness, just plug the box in to the black connector that is built into the main harness.

I have recently discoverd that Mazda screwed some owners by not installing the box saying it was not needed. Why do the fuel line upgrade and install the box after the better hoses were installed and then say some had the better hoses and do not need the box. BULLSHIT!
To install the box requires the jumper harness if the engine harness is the early original. The later new harnesses has the two extra connectors built in. |
