Angry Well crap, the rear defog doesn't work

I don't think it's going to be as easy as the switch this time. The switch clicks and the light comes on in the dash, but no rear defrost/defog. I'd really like to fix that before driving at night again...

Any ideas of where to start? Is there a fuse for it?

get a volt meter and test the 2 connections on the rear window for power. If they have power, then the little lines in the window are broken and youll need to replace it. if they dont have power then we are looking at a wiring or switch issue. or a fuse

Fuse is good, switch is good. The connections from the roof to the hatch (the wires on each side) are good. Rear wiper/washer works, rear defrost is INOP 100%. Whilst duct-taping my sagging headliner up to see in the rear view mirror (I know, I know) I found a wire on the drivers side just kind of ends under the headliner, it's not connected. I can't tell if it's the defrost wire or not though?

Ideas?

did you check to see if you are getting power?

On my gsl-se on the passenger side there is a blade connector on the back of the plastic interior piece that the struts mount through. Check and see if you have that and if its hooked up.
