It's his car so whatever he wants to do is fine with me. I'm mostly a libertarian about cars and appreciate anything not cobbled.
But if we're talking my personal taste, the jukebox interior lighting and near-dub wheels would have to follow the cat-back.

It's clean...some things I don't like but, overall, nice. Good links, Speedhunter's Mazda Month has a lot of RX-7 love.

I want to see what happens when it hits a bump while making a turn. Unless the springs are very hard, the front fender edges will get bent. And if very hard, it will have a bad ride. The lowering is too much to be a usabale high performance street car. The rears will most likely also scrape.

More show than go. "A Ricer"!
