Default Mazdaspeed side skirts

So I bought the Mazdaspeed front bumper and side skirts used, they are in good condition and I have the front bumper installed no problem. The side skirts are little more complicated than I was hoping. I got all the old double sided tape off and put down some of the 3M auto stuff on. My questions are;
1.) Would it be better to drill a hole in the rear instead of using those clips and go with a speed nut instead? The reason I ask is the the clips do not seem to reach from the holes on the skirt to the wheel well edge.
2.) Anyone still have their templates I could use/borrow? Drilling holes in the side of my car makes me a tad nervous.
3) Should I just go have a dealer/shop install them instead?

Having experienced those skirts before, I think you'll be ok w/ the clips as they are a PIA to get off.

Otherwise, I'd have a body shop take care of it... less headache on your part...
