Garfinkle Engine Torque Brace in 3 rotor
For those looking for an engine torque brace, you must give David Garfinkle a call. I have a 3 rotor in my FD and he did a custom brace for me to the dimensions I need for the 20b. I was looking at one with a dampner and Garfinkle's looked like a solid one but it is not. He presses a "rubber" bushing in both ends to dampen the vibration. I'm making 560whp and I'm not getting any vibration from the brace. The only way I know it is there is that I can shift from 2nd gear to 3rd now. I was getting a lot of 2nd to 5th shifts. David takes a lot of pride in his work....just look under the hood of his car and you'll know the quality of his work. I think he said I have the first brace he made for a 3 rotor. Anyway...thought I'd throw that out there for those considering a torque brace.

Agreed. David makes nice stuff. I've personally seen his torque brace on another car and installed his oil pan brace on mine. I'm also hoping to get one of his airpump delete idler pulleys soon.
