Default make a mold for sa bumber.

hey guys and girls iam going to be making a new bumper / air dam for my sa. i have the rough idea in my head whats it going to look like and how iam going to do it.

iam carving it out of green foam. like the stuff used in fake flower pots.

the essayist way to explain it is that iam going to have caps for the ends of fenders that will hold fog lights and maybe next to them break ducts. iam going to embed 2 metal strips with bolts welded for the fenders. and a 3rd strip for a mounting point to the main steel bumber. the reason for this is so it could be removed for front end work.

for a idea of what i mean by end caps this is a pic of what inspired me.

iam going to make it so it squares up the front fender. ie more the right side farther out. then iam going to buy a sheet of carbon fiber to connect the two and so my gravel shield will have some thing to bolt to in the front. kinda like this pic but level with the bottom of end caps.

when iam done with the molds for the end caps ill give them away to any one that wants them. only thing i want is if you make them out of carbon fiber sell me the frist set.

well guys ive been doing some thought and i figure out ill embed metal brackets in the fiber glass so the steel bumper will be carrying the weight. when its not so wet out ill start making a foam mold so you guys and tell me what to change.

Let us know how you go with the end cap moulds. SA/S1 bumper ends are NLA from Mazda and it's rare to see an SA that has end caps in good condition

i wasnt going to make end caps on the steel bumper , more or less a air dam that sits below it. but my end caps are mint tho. if some one could make a set from mine i wouldnt mind lending them out.
