F.S. (update)1980 gsl wide body, 1000 obo, live oak,95953,ca

Year:1980
model: rx7 gsl
color:red
milage: unknown well around 54,00 on chasis
engine:no engine
tranny;no tranny
body conditon; out 10/10 i would say 7/10.
Fun facts:
1. car has a mariah wide body
2. Used to have the rear wing but is gone now
3. Clean body with only a couple minor rust spots.
1. under the hood, just 2 small spots
2. on the rear hatch area where water collects body cracks on the molding to rear wing.
4. Most of bushings and links new.
5. tockico illumunia whites all around
6. suspension techniques springs all around with adjustable rear sway bar with poly urathane links
7. Clean interior with only a couple pieces missing from the dash.. well only 1 piece and sunroof knob is gone and it has brand new carpet too.
8. Head light holders are gone so they are droopy.
9. Have some of the things left over like sa tranny and some of the gslse engine parts but not much.
10. frame is clean with no rot or has it never been in an accident.
11. under a race title so no i don't have a pink slip and you will have to go to the registration process, but why? its a great track prepped shell!
12. gsl rear end with lsd in perfect working condition.

I'm only asking 1300 obo. this is a great shell that needs a little body work(fiber glass and smoothing) and some rust repair. Very little to none.
The car will have to be towed or trailerd away. PLease do not give me low balls like 500 or 700. I can sell the wide body for more than that...
PM me for info or more pics. Please do not ask me about the original owner. I bought this off my teacher hoping to rebuild the engine and he bought it from his friend. I'm flexible on the price if u are serious. The faster its gone the better sicne its just sitting there.

man, wish it had a junk motor that would run to allow the shipping company to load and unload it as well as some rims!

a shipping company will take it still... right now shipping companys are desperate for work. As for the wheels meh shouldnt be too hard to find. I;m including the wheels on it right now to roll it. Its not the right lug pattern but i can re drill it to work for crappy spares. I'm pretty sure if u rented a car hualer for like 3 days and gas to cali. It be around 300-400 to get it plus the experience of a road trip. Hell, if someone who really wants and lives far away wants to come i'll knock down the price more than for someone here in california. I just need to sell it.

actualy a trick i learned from my teacher who buys cars from across the states is he flys or buys a bus ticket to the city or somewhere close and just rents a u-hual and car trailer and just takes to the nearest city that has a u-hual center and drops the car off and takes it there. i think from here to u its like 75 dollars for a plane ticket. Just giving u and other ppl ideas.

no never heard of grass root motorsports tell me more about it.... id say its a perfect vintage racer. From i know the original owner used it as a drag car. Putting around 220-240 to the rear wheels, It used to have an se motor with rb headers, dellorto carb and rb upper manifold and intake, street port, nitrious and all kinds of stuff. My autobody teacher who got it from his friend ditched for another project. Hes gonna build an old shelby crobra from the ground up. This car is crazy and needs someone better than me to get it back on the track and strip. I'm knowlagable not enough to do it easily. I had everything to rebuild the motor..well mostly everything. I just dont know rotarys like the back of my hand yet and i didnt want to ruin a motor up. So i figure hey, someone with more knowlage and can easily do everything i couldnt would enjoy this car and take it as a steal or once in a chance of a life time. It might just sit there all year long untill i get a new motor... maybe ls1 or something since thats easier for me to do but i dont want rx crowd to get pissed.

All of the serious offers have been across the country or just to far. Everyone either stops responding or backs out. I also for to say i can probley get this car shipped at least 150 milea from where i live for free. wells fargo sent me a road side asistance program offer. I can get my car towed 150 miles anywhere, I just got to put my rx7 as my car and say it broke down and i took out the motor and..... its going to a mechanic or i can say my new house. Just throwing it out there for guys who are a little farther.
