I'm itching!
I have my FC and RX8 up at my home with me during the week to tinker with, but right now the 8 is stock and staying that (for the time being) and I have no new parts for the FC... I've been working solely on my FB for the last three months and it's 80 miles south at my parents home which makes getting to it limited to weekends!
This weekend is the big one though, I should be able to get the new tires on, bleed the brakes, do the oil change and drive her on "home". From there on I'll be able to prepare the rest of the car for paint and bodywork before Deals Gap in April. I'm just itching to get through this week! Plans overall for the car are: - T2 seats - New headliner - New hood, front header panel and passenger fender - New gaskets, waterpump and thermostat - Send injectors out for cleaning - fresh oil - new tires - bleed brakes - New shift boot - New shift knob - New radio/gauge panel (the car came w/ no radio) Some of this stuff is already done, some I'm waiting on parts for. To top it off, I'm hoping to have it painted before April 1st... we'll see! |

The itch sounds like a personal problem you might want to see a doctor

Ah - you found me! welcome to the new side of the rotary online community.
I am pretty confident most of this stuff will be done including the bodywork - I'm still a little torn on the paint though since A. I've never sprayed a car myself before and B. I'm still up in the air on how much $$ & effort I want to put into it... We shall see. I'll start a build thread when I get closer to getting the bodywork done. |

Forget the paint, then we FBs can one again be the roughest looking group in the bunch lol. Hope to see ya in the Gap if my rebuild is done on time. I will be in the white/black GSL-SE with the TII swap

Oh - I'll be there for sure, already all paid up, lol. The question is what condition the car will be in!
After this weekend I should know more. If all goes well, I should be on track to get paint done. If nothing else, I'll rock the primer, lol... |
