Hello from Ohio
Hello everyone,
I purchased my first rotary car about 6 months ago and love it! I purchased Mazda RX8 manual 6 speed. It was a great deal so I had to jump on it. All stock for the moment but only time will tell with what happens with it. I have had a love with AutoX for awhile and this car is outstanding in it and handles like a dream. I have much to learn about this new rotary life and always appreciate any help I can get. |

Congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum!!
More details on the car? (year, mileage, color, future plans, etc., etc., etc.) If you haven't already done so, I'd start thinking about buying a replacement set of ignition coils. The RX-8 ones are notoriously short-lived and it would help turn a major annoyance into a minor one if you've already got spares on hand ^_^ Pictures, pictures, pictures!! This thread is worthless without pictures!!! Cheers, Levi

Also, always keep a set of spark plugs on the parts shelf.

2004 RX8 6 speed manual
Blue exterior and black interior 147,XXX miles. Its a lot but it still has great compression. Women I bought it from didn't know much on the history of the car. She got it from a family member who passed away but she didnt want it so she pretty much gave it away! Had to fight off two other guys as she was signing the title over. Future plans? not sure but its been to 5 autoX's and a track day so we will see where it goes from here but definitely not going to baby the car. I did my fair share of research before I bought but am always looking for tips and tricks so thank you guys. |

Temporarily insane.

That is around how many miles were on mine when I sold it. Also, don't baby it if you want the engine to last. Baby it if you want everything else to last. It is a fun car. Enjoy it.
