rx2 rear shocks/ coil overs?

hello all , just started to work on my rear suspension and i was wondering if any one had any good ideas for rear shocks/coil overs. i have tokico hu3633 for an 86-92 rx7 and i was told they are to long ,so the hunt goes on .i just want to lower the rear 1.5 to 2 in .

I have miata shocks with re-speed coilovers on my rx2. I can get you more info on that later if you want it.

Suspension is Ground Control coilover setup with KYB GR2's. The fronts are are from a 1st gen with the spacers from ReSpeed. The rears are front struts from a NA Miata. Not sure on year though. This is how I got the car, so I don't have much info after that.
