oil cooler placement
Just looking for any options or opinions on where to mount oil cooler in a vmount setup.
I have a few ideas but typically over analize everything before fabrication. It's getting nice Out and I need to get going on finishing this. Thanks in advanced for any insight. |

keep it simple, stock locations?
edit: 2.nd gen forum, sorry. What front bumper you have? do you have airflow through ducts on left and right hand side of centre, where the airflow to rad/IC is. FD has stock location oil coolers on left and right hand side of this centre opening. doable on your FC? If so, gogo Last edited by Oyvindjs; 05-07-2012 at 07:34 AM.. |

Stock location is not an option. It's either duals in brake ducts
Which would be a lot of -10 hose or another location. I really don't want To lose my brake ducts though. I was wondering if anyone mounted after After radiator and any bad temps. I don't have a oil temp gauge now but Maybe I should get one to monitor. |

Well perhaps this thread should have been created as a poll instead of general inquiry.
What V-mount kit are you using? After radiator = bad idea. Whats the point in going V-mount if you're still going to stack heat exchangers ? |
