Default DGRR local airports/train depot?

Any of the locals know what the closest airport is to DGRR. I am thinking of flying down. I do not think I will have a car so I am trying to get as close as possible.

It is about 2,003 miles and or 2 days to drive one way from Great Falls Mt

Hmmmm also anyone know if the Train runs down from the north to anywhere around there? I can get over east for around $28 w/clubcar. I am just not sure if the Train runs south down there.

If you can get to Nashville/Chattanooga/Atlanta I am sure we can arrange a ride for you!

I am sure there is a train that goes to Nashville or Chattanooga. And of course there are airports, although Chattanooga is more expensive.

Maybe the NC guys could help out as well.

Magee Tyson is the closest. You would be less than ten or twenty miles from it. Its the Knoxville airport. Closest train/bus place would probaly be in downtown Knoxville. I think Amtrac runs to there. Check out Mega bus to, they are pretty cheap transportation. It was less than 30 bucks from DC to K-ville on way when I looked the other day.

Yeah, you can go the Knoxville route as well. I was just suggesting the points on the way for our caravan.

Seriously think about it. The travel will be your greatest expense. Things are cheap once you are there, and even more so if you aren't driving.

I was a passenger last year and got out so cheap. Of course, I offset the gas expense with alcohol

Hey Knoxville is on my way so I can always make a stop. Plus if you really want you can drive one of mine. I haven't decided whether to drive my eight or vert. I still have a S5 coupe I keep in TN.
