How stupid would I be to buy an additional FD?
So I have a 95 base. Single turbo, fmic, coilovers, roll bar, poly bushings, etc.
It's not all that great to drive in the street. I found a 94 in my preferred color (matches my 95) for a decent price. Touring, basically stock besides some reliability mods. I'd leave it with the twins and leave most of the car alone. Good idea? Stupid? The other issue is I have a 97 Miata (also track prepped) and a 09 RX-8 (daily driver) also. Plus I've been thinking about getting an Evora but I don't know if I can actually see myself part with that much cash. I guess the new FD would be the faster daily driver. Talk about first world problems..... |

I think of it as endless way to spend your money and make your self busy so you don't do stupid things... or some might say, prohibit from doing good things.. Either way you look at it, FD going to a good home is always a plus!!!

Yeah.. leaning toward it now.
94 Chaste White Touring 116k, 4k on rebuild from Mariah Motorsports. Basically stock. What's it worth nowadays? A friend of mine had his 94 Silver/red with similar miles/rebuild for sale for six months and ended up selling it for $10k because there was no longer any demand for FDs.. |

If you can afford it do it! It's always a plus to have these cars to go to someone who understands their "quirky" demands and also loves them. Give an rx7 a nice home!!

Turns out that the FD I went to check out wasn't as stock as I had hoped. He failed to mention that it was converted to non-seq. That in itself isn't a deal breaker, but I wanted a sequential turbo, plus the body isn't as clean as I had hoped... certainly not worth the 13k he's asking. Thinking about making an offer though...
