Well everyone,
my real name is Evan, my middle name is Birotor on Facebook.

I own a 1994 Mazda RX-7 R-II package.
The love I have for my car, is as boundless as the sky itself.

I got my car from Japan, at 97,000km. I currently have 108km,
and I have had it for 4 years. I take really good care of it, or so I think.
when I got it, it got new spark plugs, brakes, fuel filter, air filter, O2 Sensor.
did it all myself too!
really helped me get to know my baby.

I am excited to re-build my engine, and replace the stock Twins with a single.
If I have to take an engine out of a car, I might as well take the whole car apart, right?
when I drop the engine to rebuild it, should I try to do everything I want to do to the car all at once, and just invest my resources into making a machine that will dominate almost every other car I pull up to?
I could go on for longer than most people can put up with about everything I'd love to do to my car,
but, the sad thing is, I am a total loser... I can hardly afford to keep the car on the road!
and all the things I want cost more money than I usually make in a month!
I really don't know what to do at this point, other than try to become better at my life, and get a job that pays more.

for all of you who know how I feel,
I salute you.

Hey man, where are you from? I'm from Midwest USA, and I'm in the same situation, only I have an FC3S and have even less money. =)

I dont know how you live, but everyone keeps nagging me about the money I spend on my car because it's still a work in progress and doesn't show all the hard labor I put in it. I would suggest to do the bare minimum when you pull and rebuild the engine. Try to keep it exactly the same while only doing minor mods, or mods to the internals.

After you break in the new engine and get all the bugs worked out, then I would suggest doing extensive modification.

Myself, the engine in my car is perfectly fine internally so I am modding a lot of stuff, like getting a standalone ecm, and etc before I finally rebuild it.
