Default Broken seat tips on removal.

Well my passanger seat on my FD is somehow broken and stuck in the furthest back position it can be in... all the way up against the plastic storage bins and cant even stick my fingures between it... any tips on how to get to the rear bolts?

Can you removed the back piece from the seat itself or does it have to come out as 1 unit?

hey tj there should be a rod that connects both sides of the rail and if you disconnect that it will unlock the mechanism so you can slide it ( you will still need to use the handle on the seat because the one side will still be able to lock)

Late to the thread, but would one of these help (Gearwrench w/optional socket pictured at bottom)? I love these damn things. They'll get into some pretty tight places.

The handle to disengage the slider directly works on it's side.
It pulls a wire attached to the other side to disengage it.
I can not imagine any other failure then the wire coming off or broken.
The rest of the mechanism is too strong to have been easily broken.

Take your other seat out and investigate how it works.
Then you SHOULD be able to figure how to resolve your problem.
