New here, old to RX7's
I have been toying with RX7's on and off for 20+ years.
I had this site bookmarked for age and finally signed up. I have to admit though for selfish reasons. I am currently selling a 1979 RX7 Track car. If I am allowed I will make a thread in the for sale section. Anyway, I own a 1987 GT-R with a 1993 13B-REW swapped in. It has a GT35-R turbo with 1300/850 (IIRC) injectors all tuned with a Motec M4 and tons of upgrades from suspension to cooling to fuel. It makes north of 400 to the wheels. I use it for AX, DE's and Mountain runs with friends. |

Thanks! I am toying with going. I normally head up at the beginning of April to meet some local friends. I have a good friend in Bryson City that I can crash at his house, I am sure the hotel / cabins are booked up by now.
Its just that 10 hours in that car is brutal. |

My minds tellin' me no...

Come on, the Canadians do it every year!
And yes, the lodge/cabins that we specifically have reserved for the event are full, but there are other options, which you already have worked out!

Very nice car! Welcome to the club!
It's a pity that I already have too many cars - I would love to have an FB.

My little brother lives in Lexington, I was just there in my Fj (1st pic) this Christmas seeing if my Florida ass remembered how to drive int he snow. I did BTW.
Do I remember you form Team? Or NP? Man, I have not been active on RX7 boards in ages, too many people local bitches to me stirring up shit with my mechanic. For whatever reason playing him to think I was not giving proper credit for all the work he did on my engine swap in order to get free work. Who is the asshole? This ind of made me steer clear of RX7 sites so as not to give them fuel. So: If you are in South Florida and want the best Rotary guy I know, honest to a fault.... JR Fabrications and Performance 1720 SW Biltmore St. Port St. Lucie, Fl 34984 772-343-0510 Tell JR Jim sent you. He specializes in amazing roll cages and custom exhaust and intake welding aling with everything else. I am out for the Rotary event a TOTD I am trying to meet some friends up in Tn. to go tear up some secret roads 2nd weekend of April instead, no where near the dragon. |
