Help Boosting issues 88 TII with S5 turbo
Hi i replaced the turbo on my S4 about 6 months ago have had no issues i used a s5 manifold and hotside and a garret T04B and made a hybrid turbo has worked beautifully untill about a week ago i cant boost above 3psi. Checked shaft play, all vac lines and caps, all inter-cooler connections and im at a loss. All emissions equipment has been removed and inter-cooler is a trust/greddy one that enters and exits on the same side to keep your P/S and A/C. Any recommendations or help would be greatly appreciated i think it may be the wastegate on the S5 hotside i can wiggle the mechanisim for the wastegate door. Again thanks for any help or recommendations

you need to pressure test the system and check for boost leaks/vacuum leaks. Also you may want to check to make sure that your wastegate is properly connected and hasn't come disconnected from the flapper.
