If you're burning silicone hoses, you think SS lines is going to be any better?
Most "SS hose" is just a rubber hose wrapped with a SS sleeve.
The rubber isn't more heat resistant than silicone (hose) is?
Granted, the SS sleeve does reject some heat, but SS has this bad property of absorbing and keeping heat in.

I'd really look into trying to rerouting your hoses to see if you can do better.
Next, I would look into hose coverings like those fire sleeves for spark plug wires?

Look, even they use silicone as a material on their fire sleeves.

+1

I had SS lines on my old turbo setup. Greddy typeR gate......I was trying to diagonsea boost problem that was acting like a boost leak. Ended up being a pin hole burnt in the SS line.

Fire sleeving or other protective wrap is the best insurance. Or hard line.

Just stop pussy-footin' around and hard line it already. I'm on a hard line trip. Hard lining my coolant overflow, my scavenge pump and probably a load of everything else Yes... I like torture and pain.

It'll look drop dead gorgeous when I put in that order for the re-circ tank I'm thinking I may adjust the design a little bit which will lend itself to a more compact design... though you may not like the idea
