Default Are V8 FDs Allowed?

Today I talked to TWOKRX7 (Kyle Krutilek) while taking him to the airport.

Would anyone "KEY" his LS1 powered FD if he brings it next year???????

Are you serious?

There was one confirmed case of "keying", a couple scratches, and a hit-and-run in a parking lot (the offender was not rotary). Other than the M3 happening to stand out at this event, (which was apparently parked away from the group), this event was the same as any parking lot in the rest of the world. Noone knows exactly WHY the M3 was keyed, just that it was.

I don't imagine he's gonna win best FD in the car show with it, but if we can roll down and cruise the Dragon in a Dodge Dakota 'cause none of our 7's run then I don't see why there would be a problem with an LS1FD.

This was my first year, but hasn't Tray brought his LT1 FD?

Sure, I drink V8 in my 3 rotor FD all the time and no one has complained. Oh, wait a minute, you mean one of them there piston powered thingys?

Seriously, though I know you would be welcomed and you should come to the event. It's the best on the east coast (and soon to be the nation).

Do you expect any other answer than "yes, it's fine to bring it" ? Not quite sure the point of this thread...

Those of you who attended this event from start, Hinson was our sponsors for the first couple of years.... That should tell you about this event.... but just in case.. YES!! V8's are welcome and I've posted on V8RX7 forum about this but no one really wants to show in past couple of years... well, maybe tray.

Anyhow, CHUCK, tell who ever is, V8 RX7s or RX8s are welcome!!! I know some of those guys know more about rotaries than some rx7 owners

Also, I'm going to make sure people next year who register for DGRR will know and understand about the 'keying incident of M3'. I'm going to make sure those who sign up that such act will not be tolerated!! And also people drifting!! Stupid shit like that just makes us look bad as a community and I'll be stating this OVER and OVER and OVER next year!!! Make sure select stupid people understands!

I actually think V8's should not be allowed.
It IS a Rotary rally after all.

Some people need lectures. When lectures fail, they need beatings. When beatings fail, time to chlorinate their gene pool.

lecture = warning

without warning, I have no means to do what I stated that I'll do. So, lecture is a MUST!

Lol, everyone forgets about the Volvo getting keyed because it isn't an M3.

Gee thanks.

every year i wish my V8 7 was going to make it... it made it my first year of going... and well, hasn't any years since... hopefully next year...

come to think of it, this is the first time in my 4 yrs of going that I didn't see at least one piston-powered 7...
