my rotary samurai rebuild

so is a 1986 Suzuki samurai with a 12a..... ok so i took over this project if you are going to critique the wheels please dont post i bought it with the wheels i dont know if i like them yet they are 20" wheels here is how i bought it:

So we started by taking out the eng to se what we were working with

after opening up the eng i dont even know how it was running you got to love a 12a
the rotors and housing are no good not even the 3mm apex seals can fix them so if anyone know where i could get a hold of 1 12a housing and the rotors hit me up. i recived all the parts for the sami but there is still much work

this harnest is worth less i bought one from ez wiring
almost all cleaned up getting it ready fro paint

the i removed the dash and all the wires

i am replacing it with an all aluminum one just like this one

this is the set up im going with:
12a half BP all seals replased with atkins (apex, side, and solid corner, 93 corner spring) replacing everything with new
stage 1 exedy clutch
with a holley 600
holley blue fuel pump
all new electronic gauges (found a place that would custom make the speedo sending unit)
the samurai had the rear end replaced with a dana 44 so i bought 4.55 ring and pinion with all new install kit
i will keep up dating the pictures

Man, this thing reminds me of a mini MB Galenwagen, you should do a front end conversion, it would be bad ass!

Nice! Just wondering, where are you from? There's a couple guys here in MI with rotary-powered Samurais, one of them with a ported n/a something (not sure if it's 12A or 13B) and another with a 13Bt. Just wondering if you're somehow connected.

If I'm not mistaken a rotary Samurai swap is pretty common in Puerto Rico. Those guys will throw a rotary engine in anything.

I'm not a fan of the wheels but I LOVE that dash! I'd love to make/get something like that for the RX-7 some day.

So I just found out that my lug pattern is 5x5.5 so there goes the idea of weld wheels might have to go with rock crawling wheels and street tires the 20s will have to do till I find a good option
