Project RX-4 engine bay.
A little history on the car, and maybe Hoofhearted (the owner) can help fill me in on a few things. GT-R model with modified front suspention to GSL-SE.
88 6 port with Dellorto sidedraft carby. GSL-SE rear end. When this car drove into the shop the door would not close, and it had to almost be hotwired to start, so first on the list, was a door handle and latch mechanism. We were able to track down a few parts from Hector in Bell (LA) a couple fenders and a door, so after that was fixed we were able to swap out the ignition to one from another RX-4 currently in storage for the winter. Then it was time to focus on the very low front end. With the modified front end it was sittin about 1 inch off the ground. With 2 spares on the front the turnig was not to much so we added about 1.5 inch spacers to the top of each strut assembly, raising it just enough. After that we were able to trrack down a very rare one of a kind super widgit also known as a fender roller. We rolled the front fenders and it now had plenty of clearance. So after charging the battery I fired her up and noticed a fuel leak. OH NO!!! That and the carby was way out of tune. At that point we decided to clean up the whole engine bay, and take some pics in the process. Enjoy...

Right now just painting the bay, then maybe some body work. Hoping to see it on the road this summer.
