Anyone help out with this?

Took my passenger door apart. Took the window out and the window motor to see if i could fix it. The window would always go down but only sometimes go back up so i cleaned all the nasty grease out of the old track. Got it all clean new grease and bolted it back up.

Now it goes down with the quickness but will not go back up. I had to wire 2 9v batteries together and jump the system to get the window up. I'm confused though both switches will make the window go down but neither one will get it to go back up. Gahhh i hate wiring. When i put a test light on it down got a light but up got no light wtf.

Contacts in the switches. Jump the wires from the battery through a fuse... 15A and verify that the biotch rolls up. Now you've eliminated the motor/track/anything mechanical. If the motor is good, it's the wiring/switches. Start with the switch, make sure it projects the voltage from the wires that it should, if it doesn't, crack it open and clean it up, adjust the contacts. If that's not it, it's the wiring, but I doubt it.

Sounds like the switch to me. Most switches are DPDT so the reversing of the polarities is done in the switch and the two same wires are run to the window from the switch so if it goes up, it'll go down. Even if they use relays or a control box, it's usually the same 2 wires...... Are there 2 or three wires dedicated to the PW coming out of the door?

So those reverse depending on the switch. If the wiring was bad, there would be no movement, I say switch

Yeah a friend of mine said the same thing. Good thing is it can be taken apart and fixed. From what i've heard it's kind of like a fucked up rube goldberg experiment.

I also picked up my suspension stuff bushing all pressed ready to go

Yep. Where you front upper arms a bitch to put back in? It's almost like the bushings are to wide to fit back in. I know the right bushing is in the arm i checked like 6 times to make sure.

I honestly don't remember too well, I replaced them about 5 or 6 years ago. I don't think I had too much of a problem other than getting the diff bushings in. Those were a PITA.

Wait, are you talking about reinstalling the upper arms onto the car or putting the bushings in the arm?

I didn't have too many problems with installing the bushings. I used sockets and a vise. When I tried to use the press on the rear lower arms I bent one of the arms. So I bent it back and then had it x-ray'd for cracks haha.

+1 to the diff bushings. I did those a couple years ago i used Noltec rear diff bushings.

Reinstalling them the bushings are in as you can see from the pic . I'll have to take a pic of what i'm talking about. I was hopping everything would just slide back in place so far that is not the case. Everything seems to fit tighter then a glove.

I don't remember having too much trouble getting the bushings into the suspension pieces, other than the Diff of course. The only problem with that was making sure the other side didn't pop out when you get one side in.
