No, the trailing fires separately, and would require the CAS and the ECU from the 2nd gen to function. Only the leading coil pack can be used on the leading ignition of the 1st gen...

If you wanted to, you could use both trailing FC coils as leading coils and set it up like classic DLIDFIS. If you wanted to.
