So i came across a real ReAmemiya diffuser so off came the old RE type2 copy and this freshly painted one attached.
also I got another set of guards to make a bit wider. The fronts need an extra half inch to even up the camber with the rear. Did some cutting this weekend |

Well, The day finally came,
finishing off the tune today. All loaded up and ready to go. Strapped down ready to slam some boost into it. All in all the day went well. Had a completely dead battery in the morning so had to pull the one out of my ute for the day. Had a dead spot in the accel enrichment that took a bit to find. once we started on power runs found that with the 7psi spring in the wastegate the backpressure in the manifold was opening the gate so the engine was only getting about 4 psi of boost Added an extra spring and we were away. Overall happy with the results and will be plenty of power for sunday drives. Low boost 10PSI: 218KW (292hp) 341Nm (252lbft) ATW High boost 14PSI: 256KW (343HP) 402Nm (297lbft) ATW [/QUOTE] |
