Mountian Meet Pictures.
Thanks again for hosting Tray.
I really had fun on those last two roads. And that Cherokee was unbelievable but proved itself. I haven't driven my car in the mountains since Sep/Oct '08 and I got away unscathed despite the close call coming back home. We were on the hwy around Asheville going 50-60 in traffic and it suddenly came to a crawl. Bryan was in front of me almost stopped, I quick put on the brakes an locked up the wheels causing the car to do a drift toward the center breakdown lane, I was able to save the car from spinning around an got back in my lane.

glad everyone had a great time. i'm looking at May 16th and 17th to do it again. This time we may head up to Boone on Saturday to meet up with some of the WNCrides crowd and drive some of their roads.
And glad to hear you didn't screw up your car on the way home...

Me an Jamin went back to 151 an 276 on our way home. The BR Parkway was pretty foggy. My temperature actually went down on the parkway, Ive never had that happen before. I also had a nice run down 276. |
