I put the EVO-R kit last winter.

It's a bit of work to do it right, but nothing terribly difficult.

The fitment isn't great, but it's livable. I have an issue with one
fender (non-OEM body shop replacement) that makes it difficult
to get the bumper on just right. As it's an autox/track car, I don't
worry about it too much.

I didn't get the HID option. My FD is rarely used on the street.

Mostly I just wanted to get rid of the popups. The stock lights
look great, but it's easy to get surprised by the popups moving
if you work on your car a lot. I want to keep all my fingers.

Here are some pics of the install:

Probably why every shop manual and most how-to's start with:

Step 1: Disconnect the negative battery cable..........

uh-huh.

And do you know what happens when you reconnect the negative battery cable?

If the lights have been moved at all, they do a recalibration when the battery is reconnected. A little scary if yours (or someone elses) fingers happen to be near the lights.

So would that fit better if the bumper was still completely stock? does anyone make a better sleek kit? I really like the looks of the sleeks.

The biggest advantage for them is less weight and more streamline for night time driving.
