How about Maryville, or Townsend? Maryville is a pretty good size city, and Townsend is about like the others, and I dont' think they are any further away than Nantahala. Plus Townsend is only about 20+min from Pigeon Forge. Just a suggestion, I'm not sure if you want to change it that much or not.

I am gonna make it next year for sure. I haven't been to the dragon's tail but I want to go bad!
