Obviously, but that's not what I said. The problems the OP is describing just don't happen with Webers or Weber-derived 2-barrels.
jimmys79rx: Another thing to try is lowering your fuel pressure. If that doesn't help, this might: http://www.holley.com/26-89.asp Also, which floats do you have? Center-pivot or side-pivot?
