The starter motor itself would work. The solenoid is probably trashed, so you need a new starter.

Funny, a friend of mine hooked his FC up backwards, and just blew the main fusible link.

I'd agree. Hopefully that's the worst of it but I'd be more concerned about the ECU.

How would I know if it's the ECU or the main fusible link???
