How do they come apart?

I did this again 2 days ago putting in my haltech, the one actually rests on a clip, i pulled it off of the clip (towards the rear of the car) pulled it out some and then seperated the two connectors, the other one wasnt very difficult.

Many thanks! I'll try that in the morning. I just couldn't figure which way to go to get it off the kick panel.
