"turn signal' intake for oil coolers?

i'm thinking of mounting 2 round indicators in place of the stock combo lights. then combining the airflow from both the original oil cooler opening and the new turn signal opening.. with 1 large aluminum duct behind the bumper cover. anyone think this is a bad idea? seems like the airflow to the cooler can be increased a lot this way. i can't think of any negatives. and does anyone know where to get nice indicator lights?

yeah i did see a few okay looking ones that were small enough to fit. i'm not entirely sure if i'll be doing this mod yet since i don't need the extra cooling yet.

Are you having a real issue with oil temp? What about adding the second cooler to the passenger side instead?

Not sure that more airflow is going to really make that much of a difference. . . dual coolers though, for sure will.

another way is to just get a 99 spec bumper. supposedly the surface area of openings is increased by double the amount.

Good luck getting a 99spec front end in any reasonable ammount of time.

I can't really visualize what the OP is trying to do, but it'd be neat to see the project as it progresses.

Yeah there has been a real problem lately. I heard of a couple of the stores "trying" to restock them.

To the OP, if your idea works out, it would be a really easy way to get more air to the oil coolers without spending a heap of money.
