Hazard Light only turns on left blinkers... HELP!
Hello, all. I guess this would be my frist post here. I joined up after recommendations from v8rx7forum members.
Few days ago, I ran into traffic all of a sudden on the highway, and had to stop quickly. I turned on the hazard lights as I was stopping as I usually do as I don't want anyone hitting me from behind... but only left blinker came on. Yesterday, I tried to fix it and took a look at the wiring diagram... well I just couldn't understand why it doesn't work. The right blinker does work, but it turns on with a slight delay and I don't hear the relay clicking... I suspect that's the problem. Could it be a relay that is bad? I find it weird that the blinker still works w/o the relay working. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Did the interior right turn signal light not work, or did you see your blinker in the reflection of the car? Is it both front and back blinkers that aren't working? I would check the bulbs first at least if it is only the front or the back.

The bulbs are fine. I was actually at a shop that is working on my brother's car today, and they checked it out for me. Pass. side turn signal is actually hooked up to a different flasher unit... they plugged it back into the stock flasher unit, but there is no output to pass. side signal although the relay does click. I'm assuming I'll have to replace the unit. I guess the previous owner didn't want to shell out the $$$ for a new flasher unit, cheaped out and just put a separate unit to R signal.
