Weigh your car, not model cars

Do not know where to stick this,

Would anyone pay to have their car scaled? and if so what would you pay?

This is would include: total weight, corner weights, cross weights, weight with and without driver.

Could someone kill the 'Scale cars' thread please.

other thread killed....corner weighing your car sounds fun....$100 bux? Dunno how much it costs but I figure you'd make the money back fast at $100 for a perfectly corner-weighed setup.

It's about time someone offered this though, too many kids driving with slammed cars and useless camber out there.

Mind you, I am horrible with figuring the value of things....so I might not be a very good source for prices.

problem is scales are expensive, and in order to get an accurate reading, all 4 must be 100% level with respect to each other.

Total weight, I wouldn't pay a penny for. I'd go to the dump and drive up thier scales and ask to the guy to tell me the weight. Corner weighting, think about the time that it would take to get that done and consider that you're doing the alignment at the same time. I'd pay alot, and actually plan on doing it if I can ever get past the dyno tuning thing.

Setup is not an issue. Just wondered if the street would be interested and what they would consider a good price. Of course full set up services would be available.
Corner weights are critical if you are doing any serious solo, road racing and I would imagine drifting. I found that even in street cars you can change the handle with some weight movement.

If anyone in Tucson would like to have their car scaled, let me know. PM or email the shop. Make sure to mention that you are RCC.
