Default Replacing my radiator '86 n/a GXL

So the radiator shop tested my radiator and tells me there are leaks in the core. I am in the middle of an engine rebuild that was the result of an overheat, so needless to say I am concerned about keeping this engine cool after it drops back into the car. Also, however, funds are a little tight as a result of the rebuild. I am finding a lot of $150 parts on a google search, and am wondering if anyone can offer me any advice on what the best economical option is.

Thanks.
