yeah less boost may do a little better if your car is all over the place or slipping clutch. I may have a problem with the 4.88 rear end gears

. Boy does it really feel nice and torquey down in the lower gears.

so your car is turbo with the 4.88 gear? what size tire are you running and hows it feel? i always heard to run a smaller gear with a turbo and i have 4.78s right now. not got to run it yet almost done with my new set up
