Default "bouncing" idle problem

So I have an 87 N/A FC. Two days ago i finished installing a new clutch. and of course in the excitement, i decided to take it out to get gas and some much needed air for the tires.
a little over 15 minutes of driving the engine had warmed up, and started acting up. The first sign of trouble hit when i came to a stop sign. the car started dropping below regular idle, then would recover by over shooting regular idle.
by the time i left the gas station it got worse. as i would come brake for the light and put it into neutral, the car's idle would drop, bounce back up, drop then die.
the idle problem has happened before i swapped clutches, but it's never died.
can someone help me out here?

Have you checked for vacuum leaks?

Also, unplug the BAC and see what happens.

So just to check here, the tps only acts up like that before the car is warmed up usually right?

set the tps when the car is warm. go for drive, come back and immediately set the tps. repeat if necessary.
